Update Scheduled Billing

The Update Scheduled Billing tool provides staff the ability to "reset" a specific member type recurring scheduled billing when the fees configuration in the Membership Type setup has been changed/updated.

 

For Example:

     Your board has decided to charge a one-time fee for 2024. The fee has been added to the membership type but the current membership scheduled billings

     need to be updated. 

 

  1. Click Setup in the left-hand navigation panel
  2. Click Update Scheduled Billing in the Data Tools section

  3. Use the   icon to filter to specific members. You can filter using the following criteria:
    • Specific Membership Type 
    • Level
    • Status
    • Membership Start Date
    • Membership Next Bill Date
  4. Once you have applied desired filters click the Update button.

  5. The confirmation screen will display the total of scheduled billings that will be updated. Type Yes to confirm that you do wish to update these billings. 
  6. Click Update.

 

Scheduled billing will now be updated. Dependent on the number of contacts this process may take several minutes. 

 

TIPS:

  1. Make then test the changes in clone to ensure the results are what you expect.
  2. Take note of the number of membership types you are updating (Setup > Memberships  > Types)
  3. Run the tool for each membership type individually to ensure that the correct changes are made to the correct number of membrships noted in #2 above.
