Let's say you have a module page (Directory, Events, etc.) that you would like to display some extra custom content above, below, or next to the module page content.
You can follow this guide to add in everything you'd like from (buttons, images, text, FAQs, etc.).
STEP 1
1. Login to your WordPress website's backend (the area where you can edit your website)
2. Go to PAGES > ADD NEW
3. Give your template a name (for ex. Events Custom Template)
4. Publish your page and head into the PAGE EDITOR or LIVE EDITOR depending on your website builder
5. Add in a HEADING 1 (H1) field and type in the phrase #growthzone_heading#
6. Under the H1 field add in a regular TEXT field and type in the phrase #growthzone_content#
7. Once complete add in the custom content you'd like anywhere on the page.
8. Save and publish your changes
9. Copy the URL of the page (for ex. yourdomain.com/events-custom-template)
STEP 2
1. Login to your GROWTHZONE Database
2. Go to SETUP > GROWTHZONE PAGES
3. Click on the TEMPLATES column
4. Click the PLUS ICON (+) in the upper right corner
5. Give your new template a name (for ex. Events Custom Template)
6. In the EXTERNAL URL field paste the URL you copied from your custom template page (for ex. yourdomain.com/events-custom-template)
7. Click DONE
8. Exit out of the TEMPLATES pop-up window
STEP 3
1. Click on the PAGES column
2. Click on the MODULE PAGE(s) you want to assign the custom template to
3. In the TEMPLATE field, click the dropdown and choose your newly created CUSTOM TEMPLATE
4. Scroll down and click DONE
5. Exit out of the MODULE PAGE pop-up window
STEP 4
1. Click on the 3 DOTS (•••) under the ACTIONS column
2. Click CLEAR CACHE
3. Click OK
STEP 5
1. Your template is complete and assigned to a module and you can view that page on your website and see the extra content
