Mapping GrowthZone’s payment types to QuickBooks payment methods ensures you can track a payment’s origin in QuickBooks. Payments that are synced from GrowthZone to QuickBooks will include the mapped payment method as well as the reference number for the payment. For checks, this is the check number. For credit card payments, this will be your credit card processor’s transaction or reference number.  

First, create these Payment Methods in QuickBooks.  For questions on how to set up payment methods in QuickBooks, refer to Intuit's QuickBooks Support portal.

• Credit Card
• ACH

Second, map the payment types in GrowthZone to the Payment Methods in QuickBooks.

1. Go to Setup > Integrations > QuickBooks Online

2. Click on Payment Types

3. Match each payment type in GrowthZone to a payment method in QuickBooks

4. Done
